Lunazul Reposado is a deeply rich, perfectly smooth 100% blue Weber agave tequila rested in bourbon barrels for a subtle yet luxurious finish, estate grown in Jalisco and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Lunazul is made at Tierra de Agaves, where what the brand calls the world's longest line of master tequileros turn 100% blue Weber agave into authentic, award-winning tequila. Inspired by more than 250 years of family tradition, the brand was founded in 2002 by Francisco Beckmann, and its label reads master tequilero, Jalisco, Mexico, estate grown.
The agave is hand harvested and estate grown, and Lunazul's small-batch process keeps only the heart of the distillation for a clean, agave-forward spirit. The reposado then rests in bourbon barrels, which add a subtle, luxurious layer of vanilla and oak.
Expect cooked agave, vanilla and light oak on the nose, a rich, smooth palate of agave, caramel and gentle spice, and a soft, lingering finish.
Lunazul Reposado is quality without excess, made for those who put tradition above trends. Sip it neat or over a large ice cube, or shake a reposado Margarita with fresh lime and agave syrup. It makes a smooth Paloma with grapefruit soda, a tequila Old Fashioned with agave syrup and orange bitters, and an easy Tequila Mule with ginger beer. Pair it with carnitas, carne asada, chicken mole, grilled corn or churros. A great-value 100% agave reposado, it is a dependable bottle for parties and a staple for any home bar.
