Martingale is the Cognac of the Thomas family, growers who sold their eaux-de-vie to the big Cognac houses for more than 100 years before the fourth generation launched its own brand. Fourth-generation master blender Amaury Thomas styles it in a completely new way: lighter on Grande Champagne, heavy on the Borderies, with no additives and no boisé. The set marked the release of Martingale's smaller bottle in October 2024 and includes a hand-numbered card as proof of provenance.
