Mash & Mallow Roasted & Toasted is a s'mores-flavored whiskey that brings campfire nostalgia to the glass, blending a smooth corn whiskey base with rich chocolate, toasted marshmallow and graham cracker, bottled at 70 proof (35% ABV).
Mash & Mallow was launched by Kaveh Zamanian, founder of Rabbit Hole Distillery and a Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame inductee, as a bold, simple and irreverent whiskey for drinkers who embrace culinary flavors in spirits. It is inspired by long nights in the American outdoors, and you can't have a get-together around the logs without busting out the s'mores.
Roasted and toasted to perfection, the whiskey's mash bill features 97% corn whiskey and 3% rye whiskey, alongside added flavors of chocolate, toasted marshmallow and graham cracker for an authentic s'mores experience.
It opens with a smoky aroma and a melding of graham cracker, chocolate, roasted marshmallow and sweet confectionery sugar. The palate is smooth and rich, with roasted marshmallow, chocolate, graham cracker, caramel and vanilla over real whiskey character, and the finish is soft and lingering, with toasted sweetness, a wood-oak note and gentle warmth.
Enjoy it chilled or over ice, as a shot by the campfire, or in hot chocolate, coffee, milkshakes and dessert cocktails. It is an easy after-dinner pour that feels more like a treat than a traditional whiskey, and it works in simple highballs too. The matte-black jug bottle makes it a fun gift.
