Meili Vodka is a Montana vodka created by Jason Momoa and Blaine Halvorson, made with pure mountain water and locally sourced grains, distilled only once and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Meili, pronounced MAY-lee, was launched in 2023 and is bottled by Meili Spirits in Bozeman, Montana. Its founders set out to make the purest, most versatile spirit you will ever taste, drawing on the elements of fire, water, earth and air, and the brand's own motto sums it up: vodka sucked, so we fixed it.
Most vodkas are distilled many times, but Meili is distilled just once to preserve the natural character of its grain, a rare approach in the category. The mash is built on Montana wheat and corn grown nearby, the spirit is made with pure mountain water, and it is matured in the fresh Montana air before bottling.
The result is bright, crisp and versatile, with a soft grain sweetness, a clean, smooth body and a fresh finish. It is designed to be sipped neat as easily as it mixes.
Pour Meili straight from the freezer into a chilled glass, or serve it over a large ice cube with a twist of lemon to enjoy its natural grain character. It makes a crisp Martini, a bright Vodka Gimlet and an easy Moscow Mule with ginger beer and lime. For a long drink, mix it with soda water and fresh grapefruit or cucumber. Pair it with oysters, smoked trout, grilled vegetables or a simple charcuterie board. The pale blue bottle, with its embossed emblem, makes Meili a striking gift for fans of Montana craft spirits and anyone who wants a vodka with real character.
