MICO Blanco is a small-batch 100% blue Weber agave tequila made from Highland-sourced agave at Tequila El Viejito (NOM 1107) in Jalisco, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
MICO is a new classic: modern in spirit and crafted with respect for the legacy of world-class tequila. Its master distiller, an artisan who finds the balance between smoothness and flavor, sweetness and spice, creates proprietary blends in small batches with special yeast strains for a fresh burst of flavor. The Blanco is made with only three essential ingredients, water, 100% blue Weber agave and time, and is double distilled with no artificial colors or flavors. The curved bottle features the MICO monkey, sealed onto the glass with fire.
Deceptively gorgeous in its simplicity, it opens on a floral nose with the aromatic, fruity notes of the Highlands, shows crisp citrus, fresh herbs and a hint of pepper, and finishes with ripe natural agave.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
