Minden Mill Nevada Straight Rye is a four year old single-estate rye made from 80% rye, 10% soft white wheat and 10% estate-malted barley, bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV) without chill filtration.
It is distilled on a Headframe continuous stripping still and a Christian CARL hybrid still in a former 100-year-old creamery, and aged in Seguin Moreau new American and French oak barrels with a number 3 char.
The nose and palate lead with spiciness and a hint of fruit.
