Monte Alban takes its name from the ancient Zapotec city overlooking the valley of Oaxaca. It is produced by Destiladora Oaxaqueña, part of the Sazerac Company, and it is one of the best-known mezcal brands in the world, recognized by its bright orange label and Bottled in Mexico seal.
