Oceano Azul Birdie Barrel is a six-year-old Indiana bourbon presented in a barrel-shaped decanter that rides on a miniature rolling golf cart. Aged in charred American oak and bottled at 80 proof in a 700ml decanter, it is a collectable gift set designed for golf lovers.
The set includes the 700ml barrel decanter, the white golf cart with rolling wheels and a canopy, decorative miniature golf clubs, and two glasses with golf-ball-shaped bases, all packed in a presentation box with inserts. It makes a fun, functional centrepiece for a bar or office.
The bourbon offers vanilla, caramel and toasted oak on the nose, and a rich, velvety palate of caramel, vanilla and brown sugar, leading into a medium-to-long finish.
It is an ideal gift for a golfer's birthday, a club tournament prize, Father's Day or a retirement, and it will raise a smile at any nineteenth-hole gathering.
Pour from the barrel, raise a glass and celebrate a birdie in style. The cart's wheels really roll and its canopy holds the two glasses, so the set doubles as a serving piece when friends gather to watch a tournament, and it looks just as good on a desk or shelf once the bourbon is finished.
