A revival of an old Hood River Distillers small-batch recipe, Old Delicious begins as Pacific Northwest apples, crushed, fermented and distilled by Old World methods in Clear Creek Distillery's German-made pot stills. The apple brandy then rests a full year in a freshly drained Kentucky straight bourbon barrel before moving into another freshly drained bourbon barrel for a final year. Hood River Distillers, the largest and oldest importer, distiller and marketer of spirits in the Northwest, makes it part of its Oregon-made portfolio.
