Old Forester Statesman is a Kentucky straight bourbon blended to a smooth 95 proof (47.5% ABV) from hand-selected barrels of Old Forester located in the warmest places in the warehouse.
It was created as the official bourbon of the Kingsman film franchise and is named after the fictional bourbon distillery in Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Barrels on the warmest upper floors see the most severe temperature swings, where summer heat drives the bourbon into the wood and winter cold pulls it back out, extracting more oak, caramel and spice with every cycle.
The result is an exceptional balance of heat and spice. Aromas of clove and oak spice lead to buttery leather and a bold flash of pepper and cinnamon bark, and an intense finish of spice and eucalyptus fades into orange cream and caramel.
