Altos Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco, made by Olmeca Altos and bottled at 40% ABV.
Reposado means 'restful' in Spanish, and it rests for six to eight months in barrels once used for whiskey, adding a unique flavour to every sip.
It pairs traditional flavours of citrus, oak, cooked agave and vanilla with notes of nutmeg and allspice, plus hints of orange peel, caramel and smoke, and a crisp finish.
Every bottle is crafted in a small batch, with each barrel holding no more than 20,000 litres, and it ferments with cultivated yeast only for a smooth, consistent spirit.
