Partida Añejo Cristalino is a certified additive-free cristalino made from 100% Blue Weber agave, aged 18 months in ex-bourbon barrels and then charcoal filtered to remove the colour, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Partida calls it a diamond of duality: a spirit with the clarity of a diamond and the palate of an 18-month añejo. The agave grows in the rich red clay of the Jalisco highlands and is cooked for 24 hours, fermented and distilled under NOM 1502 before resting in medium-toast white American oak ex-bourbon barrels. Natural charcoal filtration then strips away most of the colour while keeping the aromas and flavours of maturation, and brings back a touch of the Partida Blanco profile.
Bright aromas of vanilla and honeysuckle mingle with luscious fig and quince on a background of subtle cacao, cinnamon and coffee, leading to a pleasantly long and lingering dry finish. It won Gold at The Spirits Business Tequila & Mezcal Masters 2024.

Añejo tequila is aged between one and three years in oak barrels of no more than 600 litres, long enough to add colour, sweetness and spice while keeping the character of the agave, which makes it a natural sipping tequila.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
