Partida Reposado is an additive-free 100% blue Weber agave tequila from Jalisco (NOM 1502), rested about six months in oak and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Partida is made from the freshest agave, artisanally distilled like the finest single malt and aged beyond expectations. This reposado is the result of an excellent blanco base, the right barrel selection and the exact maturation time, striking a seamless balance between agave character and gentle wood influence.
Natural, light amber with golden tones, transparent, brilliant and full-bodied. Notable aromas of vanilla, cooked agave, caramel, butter, bourbon, hazelnut and almond are confirmed on the palate, with soft fruit and a touch of ginger and white pepper.
The elegant rounded bottle makes it a refined gift.
Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
