Pātsch Blanco is an organic, additive-free 100% blue Weber agave tequila made at Destilería Las Américas (NOM 1480) in Jalisco, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a striking brass-knuckle decanter.
Pātsch is crafted at one of Mexico's most celebrated organic and additive-free distilleries. Every expression uses sustainably grown and harvested blue Weber agave, picked only when fully ripe and mature, cooked in stone ovens and double distilled: a testament to pure agave spirit.
Pristine and luminescent with generous legs. Lime zest blooms into grapefruit and lemongrass, with slight anise and deep baked agave. The body is silky and luxurious: sweet baked agave evolves into full peppercorn, with hints of anise and licorice and an enduring finish.
The brass-knuckle bottle makes it an unforgettable gift.
Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
