Pinhook dedicates each vintage to a promising thoroughbred, and the 2024 release honors Bourbon Breeze, a filly sired by Omaha Beach out of the Malibu Moon mare Malibu Pride. It replaces Pinhook's former High Proof annual release and is the first in the series to carry a five-year age statement, completing the brand's trifecta of core expressions alongside its Flagship Bourbon and Flagship Rye. Pinhook uses the same custom mash bill as its straight bourbon but ages it longer and bottles it at cask strength to accentuate complex flavors and deliver a long, balanced finish.
The 2024 vintage shows a warm, rich nose of molasses, roasted peanuts and caramel before leading into a dense palate of baked apricot, vanilla and burnt sugar.
