Pisco ABA is a clear Chilean pisco made by the Aguirre family in the Elqui Valley, high in the Andes, from hand-harvested Muscat of Alexandria grapes and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Pisquera ABA has produced pisco in the Elqui Valley since 1921. At the end of each summer the Muscat grapes are hand harvested, crushed, de-stemmed and macerated, turned into wine, and then double distilled in small traditional copper pot stills. The pisco rests for 24 to 30 months in large vats made from aged Chilean raulí wood before it is brought to proof, filtered and bottled.
The result is a crystal-clear eau-de-vie with the softness and fragrance of the original Muscat grape: fruity, floral and smooth, with real complexity.
