Pochteca Almond is a smooth, creamy almond liqueur made with 100% blue agave tequila, natural almond and agave nectar, crafted in Tequila, Jalisco, and bottled at 36 proof (18% ABV).
Pochteca Liqueurs are made in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, by a 100% Mexican family-owned business led by engineers Jorge Martínez Cano and his wife Sylvia Martínez Pérez, who each have more than 40 years of experience in the tequila industry; Jorge is an adviser to the industry, a tequila tasting instructor and the author of a book on tequila's history. The range is the only all-natural flavored liqueur line made with 100% agave tequila, sweetened with agave nectar instead of cane sugar and flavored with natural extracts from alcohol-infused herbs, grains and fruits of the region.
The Almond blends 100% agave tequila with natural almond flavor and agave nectar to create a smooth, dessert-inspired liqueur. Crafted with all-natural extracts, it shows off the richness of roasted almonds while letting the tequila's character shine through.
Expect roasted and toasted almond, vanilla and subtle agave sweetness, with a silky, creamy texture and a balanced, nutty finish. It is rich and indulgent without being heavy.
Silky and approachable, it is equally enjoyable served chilled, over ice, or as a flavorful addition to cocktails: try it with rum, mango and strawberry purées and lime in a fruity shake, in coffee, or alongside desserts.
