Porfidio Reposado Extra is a super-premium 100% blue agave spirit presented in Porfidio's iconic hand-blown glass bottle with a green glass cactus inside, bottled at 40% ABV.
Porfidio rests its reposado for around seven months rather than the customary two, which is why it carries the name Reposado Extra. Because Porfidio uses its own production methods outside the strict traditional definitions of the Tequila Regulatory Council, it is labelled as a distilled spirit from 100% blue agave.
The nose shows wood with cooked agave, the palate brings soft agave with vanilla and cinnamon, and the finish carries a slight spice.
The hand-blown cactus bottle is one of the most recognisable in agave spirits and makes a striking gift or display piece.
