Hurst Knoll is a 7-year-old Kentucky straight rye from Rare Character, bottled at 101 proof and designed as a workhorse for cocktails.
It is the first permanent, widely available Rare Character product, developed by co-founder and bartender Pablo Moix. Whisky Advocate covered the launch in late 2025.
It is a blend of Kentucky straight rye barrels aged a minimum of seven years from an undisclosed Kentucky distillery. The mash bill is described as high rye, but percentages are not disclosed.
