Jardin Fruité, or "Fruit Garden," is inspired by the verdant flora surrounding the Rhum J.M estate and is the third expression in the Atelier des Rhums series. It is distilled from fresh sugarcane juice: the cane is grown on the J.M estate and surrounding farms, crushed within one hour of harvest and open fermented for 24 hours. Master Blender Karine Lassalle selects lightly toasted French and American oak barrels of varying char types to explore the fruity, hearty side of agricole rhum, creating a lively balance of elegant confection and fruit.
Notes of flambéed exotic fruits, split vanilla pod, Caribbean honey, candied citrus and nutmeg make it the most approachable of the Atelier trio, like a tropical fruit garden in a glass.
