RIGHT Gin is a citrus-forward, New Western-style gin blended and made in Malmö, Sweden, by Master Blender Henrik Facile, with eight separately distilled botanicals and soft water from Lake Bolmen.
RIGHT was conceived by W. L. Lyons Brown III, whose ethos for the brand stands against mediocrity, with distinctive flavors that speak to the soul of the botanicals. The label carries the motto Est Unus Modus Verus. RIGHT is blended and bottled in Malmö, in Sweden's southernmost region, directly across the bridge from Copenhagen.
More than half of a gin is water, so the choice is critical: RIGHT uses soft water from Lake Bolmen in southern Sweden, a protected source known for its arctic purity. The base is a neutral corn spirit distilled five times, which lends sweetness. The eight botanicals, juniper berry, Sarawak black pepper, coriander leaf, lemon peel, bergamot, green cardamom, key lime peel and bitter orange peel, are each carefully sourced, distilled separately under conditions suited to that botanical, and then blended for an elegant, balanced and unique expression of gin.
Bright citrus from lemon, bergamot, key lime and bitter orange leads over juniper, with a warm, nutty spice from black pepper and cardamom and a soft sweetness from the corn base.
RIGHT works exceptionally well in classic gin cocktails, taken neat, and pairs beautifully with fresh, seasonal flavors. Try it in a Martini with a lemon twist, a Gin & Tonic with lime or a Tom Collins.
