Royal Salute 21 Year Old The Miami Polo Edition is the sixth release in Royal Salute's Polo Collection and the first Royal Salute whisky to be fully finished in first-fill rye and first-fill bourbon casks. Created by Master Blender Sandy Hyslop, it is a blend aged a minimum of 21 years and bottled at 40% ABV.
Royal Salute was created in 1953 to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II and has a longstanding affinity with polo, the sport of kings, sponsoring tournaments around the world. The Miami edition celebrates the city's polo scene, and its striking pink porcelain flagon is inspired by Miami's vibrant Art Deco architecture.
The first-fill bourbon casks bring smooth vanilla and coconut, reminiscent of golden sandy beaches, while the rye casks add a subtle spice to the finish.
The pink flagon carries an embossed polo scene, and the gift box features colourful Art Deco artwork of palm trees and players. It is a beautiful collector's piece and a memorable gift for a polo fan or a Miami lover.
