Sazerac de Forge & Fils was a celebrated 19th-century cognac house whose name lives on in the Sazerac cocktail of New Orleans. Revived today, the house aims to capture the spirit of cognac's golden age, bridging traditional French luxury and modern mixology.
Silky and floral, it offers dried fruit, candied orange, oak, vanilla and warm spice on the nose. The palate is rich and rounded, with raisin, fig, toffee and baking spice, along with tangerine, mango, red berries, caramel and nuts, and the finish is long and warming, with citrus peel, cinnamon and soft oak sweetness.
