Siempre Tequila Supremo is a still-strength tequila blanco, 100% tahona-crushed agave, wild fermented and double distilled at La Cofradía (NOM 1137) and bottled undiluted at 110 proof (55% ABV).
Supremo is the most traditional expression in the Siempre range, made under Master Distiller Agustín Sánchez Rodríguez in the heartland of Tequila, Jalisco. Hand-selected, fully mature agaves are crushed entirely by tahona, the traditional volcanic-stone wheel, then fermented with wild yeast and distilled twice.
Rather than being proofed down, it is bottled at still strength as a blend of hearts and tails, at full still strength. That preserves the maximum concentration of essential oils and agave intensity achieved during production, a raw, unadulterated expression of the agave.
On the palate, rich cooked agave and fennel unfold with white pepper, a medium body and a touch of brine. Expect citrus, vanilla, herbal and ripe fruit notes along the way, with earthy, vegetal sweetness, and a long, complex finish of baking spices that leaves a gentle tingle.
Built for the connoisseur who appreciates purity and intensity, it is best enjoyed neat or over a single large cube, and it gives a Margarita or a Ranch Water serious backbone.
Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
