Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey is the original peanut butter whiskey, a harmonious blend of smooth whiskey and creamy peanut butter flavor that is sweet, salty, savory and smooth, bottled at 70 proof (35% ABV).
Skrewball was founded in 2018 in San Diego, California, by husband-and-wife duo Steven and Brittany Yeng. Steve, newly arrived from Cambodia, discovered the fascinating flavor of peanut butter and created a renowned peanut butter whiskey cocktail; he then joined forces with Brittany, a skilled chemist, to create the award-winning Skrewball recipe.
Crafted with both bartenders and drinkers in mind, Skrewball is a whiskey with natural flavors that tastes great on its own and plays well in cocktails. Its label, with the black sheep and the words to the misfits, black sheep and skrewballs, celebrates everyone who does things their own way.
Expect roasted peanuts and caramel on the nose, a smooth palate of creamy peanut butter, vanilla and brown sugar with a pinch of salt, and a long, nutty finish.
Skrewball is delicious neat, chilled or over a large ice cube, and it is a natural in dessert cocktails. Stir a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned with a dash of chocolate bitters, mix a Nutty Russian with coffee liqueur and cream, or blend a Skrewball Mudslide with ice cream. It also makes a fun PB&J shot with raspberry liqueur, and a splash in hot chocolate is a cozy winter treat. Pair it with chocolate chip cookies, brownies, banana bread or salted pretzels. There are truly so many ways to indulge your inner Skrewball, and it is a popular gift for whiskey fans with a sweet tooth.
