Solento Organic Añejo is a tequila made from 100% USDA certified organic blue agave without any additives, aged 18 months in American oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV.
It is produced in small batches from agave sourced from a single estate, distilled at NOM 1480, to ensure the highest quality from field to bottle. The 18 months in American oak give it a masterful balance of smooth, buttery maple, toasted hazelnut and a subtle hint of oak.
The aroma brings maple, toasted hazelnuts and winter spice. The taste offers cooked agave and warm maple syrup with a velvety mouthfeel, and the finish shows ruby grapefruit and lingering butterscotch.

Añejo tequila is aged between one and three years in oak barrels of no more than 600 litres, long enough to add colour, sweetness and spice while keeping the character of the agave, which makes it a natural sipping tequila.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
