Suerte Blanco is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila slow-roasted and tahona-crushed in the highlands of Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco, rested in stainless steel for two months and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).

Suerte, Spanish for luck, was founded by Laurence Spiewak and Lance Sokol of Boulder, Colorado, who partnered with the Barba family's distillery, Tequilera Símbolo (NOM 1530), where maestro Pedro Barba makes the tequila. It is a single-distillery tequila made only for Suerte, using traditional methods: agave slow-roasted in stone ovens, crushed for hours under a tahona, a stone wheel that a local craftsman shaped by hand from a quarry down the street, then double distilled in stainless steel and copper with pristine spring water. Suerte is one of only a few tequila brands that process 100% of their agave with a tahona.

A favorite with the founders, the Blanco offers an incredibly smooth finish and distinct herbal notes, so smooth that they love to sip it straight.

True tequila taste made better with tahona.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.

Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
