Sunora Bacanora Blanco is a 100% Agave Pacifica bacanora from Sonora, Mexico, cooked in lava rock ovens and autoclave and distilled in copper stills, bottled at 84 proof (42% ABV).
Bacanora is grown and produced exclusively in the Mexican state of Sonora, handcrafted in small batches from Agave Angustifolia Haw, known locally as Agave Pacifica. That agave, together with Sonora's soil and climate, sets bacanora apart from its cousins tequila and mezcal, and the spirit carries more than 300 years of history. Sunora is made from only three natural ingredients, Agave Pacifica juice, proprietary yeast and water from the Río Zanjón aquifer, with no additives and no artificial flavoring. The brand was founded by Ruben Lopez, born in Sonora.
It offers fresh herbal, citrus and sweet pepper notes with a very slight smokiness, a slightly smoky nose and a smooth, crisp taste.
