Superbird Blanco is an artisanal 100% puro agave tequila, tahona-ground, handmade and twice distilled for a smooth taste, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in its striking skull-and-bird bottle.
Superbird artisanal blanco tequila is warm, bright and friendly: easy to drink, and even better to share. It is made from 100% blue agave sourced from both the highlands and the lowlands of Jalisco.
The agave is oven-roasted, and a percentage of it is then crushed with a traditional tahona stone wheel for added richness. The juice is fermented in wooden vats and pot distilled twice, producing the clean, bright base that also anchors Superbird's Reposado and its spicy Fuego.
Plush, round and floral, it shows bright citrus notes over sweet cooked agave, with an ultra-smooth finish that makes it as good for sipping as for mixing.
The bottle, covered in bold skull, bird and floral artwork, comes in a matching gift box, so it makes a statement on any bar. Drink it on its own, or mix it into a Margarita, a Paloma or a Ranch Water.
Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
