Tequila Carrera Blanco Still Strength 54 is a bold, additive-free blanco made from 100% Blue Weber agave from Jalisco's Los Altos region and bottled at 108 proof (54% ABV).
It follows Carrera's traditional production process: brick-oven cooking, roller-mill extraction, fermentation with the producer's own yeast, and double distillation. It is crafted by master distiller Mauricio Camarena at NOM 1465, Fábrica de Tequila El Edén in Arandas. Bottled close to still strength, it skips most of the dilution that softens typical blancos, giving a concentrated expression of agave.
Clear and crystalline with a robust body, it opens with pleasant aromas of cooked agave and subtle citrus. On the palate, the strong flavor of agave stands out, with sweet agave, black pepper and a subtle note of vanilla, followed by gentle hints of citrus and a light pepper finish. It is a pure agave bomb in aroma and taste.
