Tequila Mandala Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila made from mature agaves cooked in brick ovens, double distilled and aged for 24 months in sherry cask barrels. It is presented in Mandala's signature hand-painted ceramic bottle, here in cream with a ring of deep red flowers, in a generous one-litre size.
Mandala is known for its collectable ceramic bottles inspired by the mandala, a circular symbol of harmony and balance, and every bottle is painted by hand. Two years in sherry casks give the añejo an exquisite body and an intense gold colour with golden shades.
The aroma brings roasted French oak and cooked agave. The taste is soft, fruity and sweet, leaving a finish that is persistent and pleasant.

Añejo tequila is aged between one and three years in oak barrels of no more than 600 litres, long enough to add colour, sweetness and spice while keeping the character of the agave, which makes it a natural sipping tequila.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
