Tequila Mandala Añejo Día de Muertos 2025, the La Catrina edition, is a limited-release añejo presented in a hand-painted ceramic bottle showing La Catrina among bright orange marigolds. It is made from 100% mature blue Weber agave grown in the Highlands of Jalisco, cooked in brick ovens and double distilled, aged for approximately 24 months in sherry casks, and bottled at 40% ABV in a one-litre bottle.
Each year Tequila Mandala celebrates Día de Muertos, the Mexican Day of the Dead, with a new limited ceramic bottle. The holiday honours departed loved ones with altars, marigolds and joyful remembrance, and its skeletal figures, such as the elegant La Catrina, have become icons of Mexican folk art.
The añejo has a deep amber colour and a rich, velvety texture, with notes of caramelised agave, caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and warm spice.
Presented in a black gift box decorated with bones and the words Día de los Muertos, the hand-painted bottle is a collectable piece and a striking gift.

Añejo tequila is aged between one and three years in oak barrels of no more than 600 litres, long enough to add colour, sweetness and spice while keeping the character of the agave, which makes it a natural sipping tequila.
