Mandala Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila presented in a hand-painted ceramic decanter, aged eight months in French white oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV in a one-litre bottle.
It is made from agaves selected at their optimum point of maturity, slow-cooked in a traditional brick oven and double distilled for clarity and depth, under NOM 1477.
It pours a light amber, with aromas of wood, cooked agave and a light hint of raisin. The taste is soft, with a substantive presence of oak and cooked agave.
Each bottle is housed in a hand-painted ceramic decanter decorated with mandala patterns, a beautiful gift and centrepiece.

Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
French white oak is tighter-grained than American oak and gives tequila subtler vanilla with more spice and structure, a good match for a reposado that keeps the cooked agave in focus.
