The Lost Explorer Tequila Blanco is an additive-free, small-batch 100% blue Weber agave tequila crafted by maestro tequilero Enrique de Colsa in Amatitán, Jalisco, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Known for award-winning mezcal, The Lost Explorer partnered with Enrique de Colsa, who has more than three decades of experience distilling esteemed tequilas, including pioneering work at Don Julio and the cristalino category, to craft its first tequilas under his own name. It is made at Destilería El Magnífico (NOM 1258) from the herbaceous, earthy terroir of the Tequila Valley, using slow-cooked agave and double distillation, with none of the four additives the CRT permits. Launched in late 2024, it reflects a deep commitment to sustainability.
Bright and balanced, it expresses fresh citrus, cinnamon and vibrant vegetal notes with an elegant minerality, finishing full-bodied, citrusy and peppery.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
