Three Cuts Pinot Barrel Rested Gin is the award-winning Three Cuts Founder's Release Gin from Turner Stillhouse in Tasmania's Tamar Valley, rested in ex-Tasmanian French oak Pinot Noir barrels. It is bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a 700ml bottle.

Turner Stillhouse handles every step in-house. Its Three Cuts gins are distilled from a premium grape base with pure Tasmanian water and a distinctive botanical recipe of twelve botanicals, including the three cuts of rose that give the range its name. The house style is citrus forward, with green cardamom, fresh Tasmanian lime and lemon, juniper, coriander and a hint of white peppercorn.

For this release, the original recipe is rested in barrels that once held Tasmanian Pinot Noir. The wine wood adds color and a rich Pinot influence, turning a bright gin into something deeper. Expect pronounced cassia and baking spice, with a layered palate of Christmas cake, stewed plum, subtle coffee and baked citrus, finishing long, round and softly sweet. Pine and bold citrus with lively pepper spice lead to a honied core with floral and butterscotch hints.

Three Cuts reached the United States in 2024. It is a thoughtful gift for gin lovers and wine lovers alike.
