Tierra de Ensueño Blanco is a certified additive-free, small-batch tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco, briefly rested in rare charred wheated bourbon casks and bottled at 42% ABV.
It is created through a collaboration between Master Distiller Sergio Cruz and Master Blender Oscar Vásquez Camarena from estate-grown blue Weber agave grown at 7,000 feet. The agave is slow-cooked in stone ovens, fermented in open air, with classical music played during fermentation, and double distilled, using just three natural ingredients: highland agave, water and yeast.
Although it is a blanco, the brief rest in wheated bourbon casks rounds off the sharp edges while keeping the raw voice of the agave front and centre, adding layers of vanilla, spice and toasted wood to its agave-forward profile.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
