Tierra Sagrada Plata is an additive-free 100% blue Weber agave blanco from Amatitán, Jalisco (NOM 1477), slow-cooked in brick ovens and double distilled in copper pot stills, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Tierra Sagrada brings the soul of Jalisco to the glass with a purity that reflects careful craftsmanship and deep respect for the agave plant. The agave is slow-cooked in brick ovens to draw out its natural sugars before fermentation and double distillation in copper pots. Rested just three weeks and bottled fresh, the Plata captures the raw, vibrant character of blue Weber agave in its most honest form, presented in a striking faceted decanter.
Crisp and pure with a silvery sparkle, it shows citrus, herbal notes and sweet agave with a hint of pepper, finishing clean with a touch of citrus.
The sculpted crystal-style decanter makes it a show-stopping gift.
Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
