Trujillo Manifiesto 56 is a single-estate, additive-free tequila blanco, crafted at the Trujillo family's own distillery in Jalisco to honour 56 years of family heritage in agave farming, and bottled at 46.3% ABV.
Described as the young face of an ancient tequila tradition, it is a tequila of character drawn directly from copper stills, made from organic agaves matured for eight years using the original production processes.
The agave is crushed by tahona and fermented spontaneously, with no yeast added. The result highlights complex notes of caramelised cooked agave and piloncillo, smoky and mineral notes from the tahona, and a subtle spicy touch of black pepper and cinnamon.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
