Villa One Silver is an ultra-premium, hand-crafted 100% blue agave tequila founded by Nick Jonas and John Varvatos, made at Fabrica de Tequilas Finos in Tequila, Jalisco, and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Creatives from the worlds of music and fashion, Nick Jonas and John Varvatos came together over a love for tequila and for experiencing "life as it should be," with friends old and new, one glass at a time. Villa One is crafted from a blend of agave from the Valley of Tequila and the Los Altos highlands for a distinctively smooth, rounded flavor. The distillery slow-cooks its agave, double distills in traditional copper pots and uses fresh water drawn from its own artesian well, under a master distiller with three decades of experience in barrel-aged tequila, Cognac and Champagne.
A clear liquid with silver shades, bottled immediately upon production, it delivers a nose of cooked agave with fruit aromas, a continuous bouquet of dried fruit and toasted nuts that meanders into caramelized agave, and a long, smooth, lightly oily finish.
The fleur-de-lis bottle makes it an elegant gift.
Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
