Volcán De Mi Tierra is a partnership between Moët Hennessy and the Gallardo family of Jalisco, made at Agrotequilera de Jalisco (NOM 1523) at the foot of the Tequila volcano, without additives. Its Blanco is the first tequila crafted from three different liquid profiles from the lowlands and highlands of Jalisco. For Smoke, that blanco spends 10 days in peaty malt whisky casks, folding a smoky character into the fresh agave. The distillery treats its distillation residues to clean water and uses them as fertilizer for crops.
Fresh, vibrant agave meets a smoky, rich finish from the peated casks, a tequila for the mezcal-curious and for smoky Margaritas without a mezcal float.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
