Volteo Reposado is a certified organic, additive-free tequila made from 100% blue Weber agave and rested for three months in American white oak bourbon barrels, bottled at 40% ABV.
Volteo, which translates as to turn things around, was co-founded by NFL quarterback Dak Prescott with Zamora Company USA. It is produced at Destilería Casa de Piedra (NOM 1586) in the lowlands of Jalisco, where the agave is grown in volcanic soil, and is double distilled in stainless steel before its rest in oak.
The barrels build a honey-gold tone and a velvety mouthfeel while preserving the bright character of the agave, adding gentle vanilla, caramel and soft spice over cooked agave.
Winner of Gold at the 2025 Agavos Awards, it makes a fine gift for organic tequila lovers.
Sip it neat or on the rocks, or use it in a margarita.
Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
