White X brings a new modernity to cognac, yet it is crafted at one of France's storied cognac houses. It uses the finest white grapes from the Cognac region of France and undergoes double distillation, which preserves the essence of the grapes while adding layers of floral and vanilla notes. The result is a light, gentle and slightly fruity expression, one of the first white cognacs available in the US, with the delicacy of a youthful cognac and rich flavors that linger.
Clear golden straw in color, it is fresh and light on the nose, with a slight sweetness, intense notes of white and yellow peaches, elegant vanilla and a hint of dried rose petals. The palate opens with gentle white stone fruit and creamy, soft vanilla, with a hint of tannin but no bitterness, and a smooth finish.
